Buying or selling in Reno
Reno is a city of distinct neighborhoods. Old Southwest Reno has character homes and mature trees near the river, Caughlin Ranch and Somersett sit against the hills to the west, and Damonte Ranch and the Mt. Rose corridor to the south offer newer homes with quick access to the mountains.
Prices, HOA rules, commutes and even the weather can differ from one side of town to the other. I help you compare them honestly, price a home from the sales that matter, and negotiate with care.
Buying in Reno

Moving to Reno
Video tours, honest notes on schools, traffic and winter driving, and one person handling the details while you are still out of state.

FAQ
Local questions, answered
Look for someone who knows the part of Reno you are interested in, explains pricing with recent nearby sales, answers the phone, and is clear about how they are paid before you sign anything. Ask to speak with past clients. I am glad to answer all of this in a first conversation, with no obligation.
It depends on what matters most. Older homes and walkable streets point toward Old Southwest Reno, golf and trails toward Somersett or Caughlin Ranch, and newer homes with quick ski access toward Damonte Ranch and the Mt. Rose corridor. The neighborhood guides on this site are a good start, and I am happy to tour with you.
Yes. My office is in downtown Carson City, and I help buyers and sellers across Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Dayton and the Carson Valley.
Buyers now sign a written agreement with their agent before touring homes, and it states how the agent is paid. Sometimes a seller or builder covers part or all of it. I walk you through the options before we start.
Incline Village on the north shore is about 45 minutes from downtown Reno over the Mt. Rose Highway, depending on the weather.
